This investigation examines the path of a light ray as it reflects off of plane and curved mirrors. Students can then determine the focal length of a curved mirror. Real and virtual images and use of a mirror as a magnifier are also be discussed. The kit includes symmetry mirror, ruler, line laser, projection screen, cylindrical mirrors, concave/convex mirrors, mirror holders, plane mirror, matches and candles. Required but not included are supports stands and a meter stick.
