Introducing the new Cenco AP Physics lab series. Ideal for for AP, A/B, IB, advanced, and honors physics courses, each of the 24 experiments is aligned with the College Board AP Curriculum.
The teacher guides and student manuals that accompany each lab are authored by an experienced AP Physics teacher, so you can trust the setups to be successful in your classroom. Lead students through these hands-on labs using the outlined guided-inquiry approach.
All labs come complete with instructions and materials for up to six students per lab group.
For your convenience, labs are packaged to allow you to purchase only what is required for each experiment to be taught.
Showcase the diffraction pattern of a hydrogen spectrum tube with this experiment. By utilizing the positons and distance between spectral lines, students will calculate the Rydberg constant.
The kit includes a specially designed diffraction bench that fits on the FUNDamentals of Physics FUN Stand. Colored rods can be positioned at specific spots that line up with the spectral pattern observed through a diffraction grating. Based on the distance of the spectral line to the central maximum, the exact wavelength can be determined.
The kit includeds colored rods, diffraction grating and stand, metric tape, and six hand-held spectometers.
Required but not included are the FUN stand, spectrum tube power supply and hydrogen gas tube, red and green laser pointer.
