- Large sized apparatus ensures all students clearly see each classroom demonstration
- Easy-to-read scales, printed directly on apparatus for simple and accurate measurements
Allow students to easily and accurately investigate conservation of momentum and projectiles. This spring loaded launcher features three different firing positions with an easy pull and lock setup. The pendulum catch has a small prying rod to make dislodging the marble easy. When the pendulum swings back, a metal arm is moved allowing the maximum angle to easily measured. A photogate system can be securely attached to measure the actual velocity of the marble as well. When the pendulum catch and angle measurement arm are moved out of the way, the ballistic pendulum can be used as a horizontal launcher. Includes a ballistic pendulum, marble, and instruction manual. Requires, but does not include a photogate system.
