Designed for the beginning level of astronomy, this globe may be used to teach earth-space relationships in elementary or general science.
The 4" earth, 12" sidereal sphere and sun may be set to show the positions of the stars and planets for any time and place on the earth. The globe shows major stars and constellations and has celestial latitude and longitude scales.
The globe of heavyweight plastic may be marked on the outside with chalk or wax pencil to indicate positions of planets and other extraterrestrial objects.
The globe can be mounted on a durable cradle base and is supplied with a study guide.
