With ChemCards, your students can turn their favorite card games into a chemistry learning experience. Suits are based on periods (rows in the periodic table) and members are based on groups (columns). Playing with these cards will facilitate students learning element names and symbols as well as periods and groups. Decks may be purchased individually, or in a class set of five decks with instructor’s manual. Covers concepts of element symbols and names, electron configuration, element properties (amu, atomic number), element types (alkali, noble gas, etc.), element categories (metal, non-metal, metalloid), and Lewis-Dot structure.
