Students test the chemical properties of seven different substances. After combining the substances in every possible combination, they identify chemical properties by observing reaction with other solutions. Students apply what they have learned to identify four unknown solutions. Furnished complete with reproducible lab and activity sheets. The kit contains two bottles each of copper sulfate solution, ammonium hydroxide, acetic acid, sodium hydroxide, sodium bicarbonate solution, hydrochloric acid and sodium carbonate; two bottles of phenolphthalein; four bottles of unknowns and six depression plates. Materials supplied for 28 students.
