A high-quality tube, 93cm long and 6cm in diameter, is held on a special rotating assembly that mounts on an upright support rod, which in turn stands in a stable base. Put the included metal disk and feather in the tube, pump the air out, then rotate the tube 180«M,19[degree]» to show that these two very different objects fall at the same rate in a vacuum.
