Simple to use and economical, this self-contained air table comes equipped with a built-in air blower that emits a continuous, even stream of air.
The table’s black surface provides excellent visibility for the pucks’ two-dimensional, almost friction-free movement. Tension wires stretched around the sides of the table act as both a restraining boundary and a deflecting wall.
Accessories are available for photographic recording of experiments such as those dealing with the motion of a single body, central and non-central collisions, and harmonic motion.
The table includes six 9cm pucks; one pair of springs; two pairs of Velcro collars for inelastic collisions; complete set of assembly hardware; and a reference manual detailing 12 experiments. Wooden tabletop measures approximately 60 x 90cm.
Air supply operates on 115 VAC, 60Hz, with 2.1M cord.
