Cyclical Continuum Elemental Properties Poster

A user-friendly teaching tool to accompany the Periodic Table of Elements, this poster helps students see a fundamental relationship that is not visually apparent in the format of the Periodic Table. Hydrogen is shown at the center; atomic numbers and symbols form an unbroken spiral; and element groups 1 through 18 (noble gases, alkali metals, halogens, etc.) are displayed by color-coded arcs. The noble gases in the Periodic Table (blue column #18) line up with the noble gases in the Cyclical Continuum (blue arc #18) to facilitate rapid orientation between these contrasting representations of the periodic system. Large numbers used to display atomic weights are visible from a distance, greatly enhancing the value as a practical reference in the classroom or laboratory.
