The Ideal Gas Law can be used to determine the molecular mass of a liquid by converting the liquid to a gas and measuring its volume, temperature, and pressure. The gas law will then allow the calculation of the number of moles of the chemical. The molecular mass can be determined by condensing the gas back to the liquid form and measuring the mass. Six different unknown volatile liquids are included and students can run multiple unknowns. Note: Additional shipping fee required.
