Economical machine produces a solid 1-lb block of dry ice, 3-5/8" x 4" in 1-2 minutes. A 50lb refillable cylinder of liquid carbon dioxide equipped with dip tube is required and connects to the inlet of the control valve. The valve is opened for one to two minutes allowing gas to flow into a chamber clamped into the frame. When dry ice is formed, the clamp is released by lifting the end bar. Each cylinder of liquid CO2 will make 8 or 9 blocks of dry ice. Constructed of epoxy coated steel with a polyethylene ice-containing chamber and brass valves. Includes 6' nickel-plated copper connecting tube with standard GCA320 thread couplings.
