The polypropylene chambers of this water bath are ideal for all general-purpose laboratory applications and are extremely easy to clean and keep free of contamination. The chemically-resistant, non-conductive surfaces also provide double insulation to prevent electrical shocks. A low water detection system sounds an alarm and shuts off power to the heater if the water level is below 1". Additional safety features include a wide flange that extends over the top edge of the exterior to prevent water from leaking and damaging the electronics. A digital microcomputer provides thre-digit display, accuracy, and temperature uniformity of ±0.4°C without temperature drift resulting from wearing thermostat contacts.
