When you connect this spoked wheel with three discharge points to a generator; or bring it close to one, a lot of charge appears on the whirl. The sharp points create a very high electric field. Nearby air is charged by induction and acquires charge from the points by discharge. Now the air and points repel each other-and both move away. The Electric Whirl is mounted on a cone bearing and spins easily. Size: 8cm diameter. Requires a charge source.
