You can achieve vacuum of better than 10mm of mercury with this pump, or modest pressure in excess of atmospheric in small vessels. Standard serrated nipples for hosing connections are provided. The cylinder is only 25 x 2.5cm but it is mounted atop a plate and rod that make it easy to use and about 45cm tall overall.
