Includes comprehensive manual with diagrams and tables plus descriptions of many other topics. A clear dome depicting the northern celestial hemisphere, imprinted with stars, constellations and coordinate grid, fits over the planetary system and rests on the platform. The sun can be removed and replaced with the 6" earth globe. With the moon and time collar in place, earth-moon relationships can be shown. Other accessories include a planet setter, two human figures and two space probe plotting disks. The apparatus is made of sturdy plastic and metal and operates on four WLS-30840 size D dry cells (not included) or a 6 VDC supply (not included). Overall height is 12-1/2" with dome or 16-1/2" with time collar and dome. The diameter is 15".
