Microprocessor control regulates both heating and stirring functions in these precision units. This feature ensures samples are heated to temperature quickly and accurately while speed is precisely controlled. An adjustment knob is labeled with rpm markings for increased speed control. A recall last temperature feature also allows the user to recall the last set temperature even after the unit has been turned off. The unit’s one-piece ceramic top plate design features a chemical resistant, reflective white surface that is easy to clean. Its housing is made of a heat resistant polymer that is resistant to corrosion and offers a spill resistant, low profile design. To further avoid splashing and control the spin bar, the units include a ramping feature, which slowly increases speed for improved safety and enhanced coupling. Additional features include a rear housing features with a built-in support rod holder and locking knob, a caution hot top indicator , overshoot protection that automatically shuts down unit if temperature exceeds set temperature by 10°C, and stir protection that automatically shuts down heater if stirrer motor fails. Units include a 92″ detachable, 3-wire cord, and a two year limited warranty on parts and labor. Temperature Range: Ambient, 5°–500°C with ±3% temperature stability. Speed Range: 60–1600rpm with ±2% speed stability. CSA listed.
