Nickel-Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) Rechargeable Batteries

Ni-MH batteries have 25% more storage capacity than Ni-Cd batteries and also do not suffer from the “memory” effect that reduces the capacity of Ni-Cd batteries with increasing age. Ni-MH batteries last an average of 6000 hours, tolerate low temperatures, and contain no toxic cadmium. Voltage is 1.2V.
