Each innovative demo is conducted in a large 30" demonstration tube, so the entire class can clearly see the chemistry in action. Each Scholar Chemistry Tube Demonstration contains enough materials for at least five demonstrations. The glass demonstration tube is sold separately.
Somewhere over the rainbow chemistry lessons fly. Engage your students with this imaginative activity that allows you to pour a beautiful rainbow down the inside of your Scholar Demonstration tube. A concentrated solution of sodium carbonate will be added to a dilute solution hydrochloric acid and universal indicator.
You can then teach density, solubility, migration of ions, and pH as the dense solution travels down the tube.
Enough materials have been provided for seven demonstrations.
