This comprehensive set is based on a multi-purpose light box that includes a built-in cylindrical lens to generate divergent, convergent, or parallel rays, as well as hinged mirrors that accept filters to provide three-color illumination for color mixing experiments.
The low-voltage lamp requires a 12V power supply, sold separately. The accessories supplied include acrylic refracting elements-a double concave lens, a double convex lens, an equilateral prism, a right angle prism, triangular, rectangular and semicircular blocks-and plane, circular and parabolic mirrors.
Also included are eight color filters, two slit plates, and instructions.
The set is packaged in a wooden box for convenient storage.
