Make your own snow in seconds, whatever the season. This demonstration illustrates the super absorbent property of a chemical polymer, and quickly converts water to snow using an instant snow powder consisting of a hydrophilic, cross-linked polymer that immediately absorbs water when added to it. The particles then swell to create fluffy flakes of fake snow. Students will be amazed at its ability to expand more than 40 times its original volume. Includes instructions.
