The coils are good for showing how resistance depends on the length, the diameter and the material that a wire is made of. Each of the eight coils can be set on an upright plastic spindle. They are wound on plastic spools with brass terminals for easy connection. Requires a resistance measuring device, such as Multi-Function Multimeter, or any Wheatstone Bridge, not included.
