Constructed to the demanding standards typical of more expensive units, this air track offers students the possibility of investigating motion phenomena at a precise level of measurement. The sturdy extruded aluminum construction of the track and the two included gliders have been designed with easy setup in mind. Quick-release set screws make fitting the many included accessories very easy. The comprehensive accessory set includes four sets of photogate flags, five elastic collision springs, an inelastic collision device, a set of riser blocks for inclined plane work, a low-inertia pulley, thread and mass holder for acceleration experiments, twelve 50g accessory masses for the gliders, and two light coupling springs for oscillation experiments. An air source (not included) is required for operating the air track. We recommend the CP33875-00 Quiet Air Source. Size: 156 x 20 x 14cm.
