Use to help visualize points, lines, planes and other figures in space. Points, line segments between points, and planes passing through given points can be plotted and illustrated. It is useful in any course where coordinate systems are used. The model is made of transparent acrylic with each plane a different color. The planes fit together to form a model 15" x 15" x 15", and they may be separated easily for flat storage. Metal clamps are used to provide rigidity. Ten metal rods of 5 different lengths are furnished to fasten securely into holes in the planes to locate points in space. Each rod is slotted to accept line segment ends. Elastic cord, which is used for the lines, can be fastened quickly and easily. The holes in the planes and along plane intersections are evenly spaced, 1" apart. Extra elastic cord, a wax marking pencil and comprehensive instructions are included.
