The solid, durable metal launcher is equipped with a simple triggering mechanism powered by using an ordinary bicycle pump. Push the launcher’s stakes into the ground or attach it to the included launch pad outdoors and prepare to send rockets, astrolabes, and even soccer balls into the air.
Students can create a variety of rockets using empty soda bottles you provide. Test the results of different fin size, fin placement, water levels, and air pressure.
You can also measure rocket altitude with the included paper astrolabe.
