Weathering, Erosion & Deposition Activity

Students perform activities that demonstrate different types of physical and chemical weathering. Once they have a good understanding of weathering, they set up an experiment that ties it all together by comparing the impact of weathering and erosion on limestone, sandstone and shale. In the final activity, students observe deposition while creating their own stalactites and stalagmites. Developed by Deb Hemler and Michelle Adams.
