Test Samples from Local Sources for Purity
In what can be an enlightening experience, students gather water samples from local ponds, streams, rivers, or lakes and compare this water to the control samples included. A color based test detects coliform bacteria and reveals the levels of contamination present in each body of water. Includes materials for 10 groups.
