This fun-filled kit is easy to understand and assemble, plus everything is visible. It only takes a few minutes to wind the coil and scrape the insulation off the ends. Device consists of a one-piece battery holder with inset magnet and two support rods that act as electrical connectors and axle bearings for a hand-made coil. Also includes a length of insulated copper wire to make the coil and instructions. Requires one D cell battery. Size: 7cm long, 6.5cm high.
